Prince William Fires Queen’s Sister Camilla; Understanding the Case

Prince William had to make a decision after Annabel Elliot’s super salary was announced

Queen Camilla’s sister Annabel Elliot served as the chief interior designer for the Duchy of Cornwall’s renovation. However, after her huge salary was discovered, Prince William had to deny her rehiring.

The future monarch works in the financial management of Buckingham Palace and, therefore, had to deny the rehiring of the architect of the royal family.

The Duchy of Cornwall is a group of lands that has existed for 700 years. The place was intended to provide income for the heirs to the throne. King Charles III, father of Prince William, was the one who signed the contract for his sister-in-law to become the chief designer of his properties after his marriage to Camilla.

According to The Telegraph, Annabel Elliot, 75, has not resumed her role in 2023-2024. “Sources have confirmed that Prince William will no longer employ Ms Elliot,” the outlet said.
