SBT speaks out after rumours that Silvio Santos is in critical health

SBT commented on the presenter’s health status Silvio Santo. The owner of the station was again hospitalized at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo.

This Saturday morning, 03/08, the newspaper O Globo reported that the hospital will carry out a “total shielding”. After the news, rumors began that Silvio was in critical condition.

The press office, however, denied the information and reported that he was in hospital only for medical treatment. “SBT reports that, contrary to what the press has speculated, communicator Silvio Santos is not in critical health conditions. Silvio Santos remains in hospital only for necessary medical care, being treated for his speedy recovery”, says the note.

“He is fine”

In a phone call with the Metrópoles website, communications officials revealed that they had spoken to Silvio’s daughters and assured him that he was fine. “What you see there is pure speculation, Silvio is fine“, he said.
