Oprah Winfrey mourned her father’s death and paid tribute on social media this Saturday 9th. According to information from TMZ, Vernon Winfrey died at the age of 88 after battling cancer.
“Less than a week ago we honored my father in his own garden. My friend and gospel singer Wintley Phipps greeted him with a song. He felt the love and rejoiced until he could no longer speak,” recalled the American presenter in the caption of the video .which he posted on Instagram.
Oprah said her father was surrounded by his family before he died. “I had the sacred honor of testifying that the man, in charge of my life, breathe his last breath.
