Preta Gil Appears on “Conversa com Bial” and Says She Blames Herself for Her Cancer

Last Sunday, 25, Preta has announced that he will have to resume treatment for colorectal cancer.

“I was very responsible for my cancer, because it was in my intestines. The issue of my weight has always been a debate in my life, a debate much more public than mine. But when the public debate started I started to buy myself some knots and some questions,” she said.

Preta also spoke about not taking care of her diet as much as she should. She says she is now a much healthier person.

“I’ve blamed myself a lot for not managing my diet properly my whole life. My doctors told me ‘don’t blame yourself, we work with extremely healthy people here who have the same cancer as you.’ We can love ourselves the way we are, but we have to understand if this body is healthy. Today I am healthy, I take care of myself and I am out of the norm, I am not a skinny woman,” she commented.
