According to the g1Judge Eduardo Guilliod Maranhão, of the Court of Justice of Pernambuco (TJPE), cited reports that the influencer’s relatives “finance the demonstrations in front of the prison”. It was the magistrate who rejected the new request habeas corpus made by Deolane’s defense.

“The financing of the protesters, at the initiative of the patient’s family [Deolane]gathering in front of the Recife Women’s Penal Colony (Bom Pastor) and staging a protest, demonstrates the total discomfort of the patient’s stay in its facilities, justifying her incarceration in Buíque”, reads the TJPE decision, according to the portal.

After being initially detained in the capital of Pernambuco, Deolane had benefited from a habeas corpus granted by the Federal Supreme Court (STF) in 2018, which replaces pre-trial detention with house arrest.

However, she did not comply with the precautionary measures imposed by the judiciary and returned to prison, this time in the Buíque Women’s Penal Colony, within the state.

The lawyer and digital influencer was arrested on Wednesday 4th during a Civil Police operation against a criminal organization suspected of money laundering and illegal gambling. The arrest took place in the Boa Viagem neighborhood of Recife. Her mother, Solange Bezerra, was also arrested.
