Jojo Todynho Says He’ll Take Pro-LGBTQI+ Music Off the Air: ‘I Never Wanted to Take Advantage of the Flag’

The singer allegedly criticized by followers to explain her intention to suspend the song ‘Arrasou, Viado’

The singer Jojo Todynho announced that he intends to remove a song he made in support of the movement LGBTQI+, You killed him, Faggot, from various digital platforms. The explanation came in the stories on his Instagram profile late on Saturday night, the 14th.

“When he launched What shot was that? It was a worldwide explosion. Silent. I was hugged by everyone, everyone. Everyone, without exception, hugged me and I am very grateful for that. Then the idea came: hey, let’s make a song in gratitude to the LGBTQIAP+ movement – I don’t know how to pronounce it. And I immediately said: ‘Come on!’. Then we launched You killed him, faggot,” he said.

“I, with the flag of the movement in my hand, asked for respect. Because we all deserve respect, whatever our social class, whatever the choice we make in life, whatever we are, no one is obliged to please anyone. But respect is everyone’s duty,” he continued.

Jojo Todynho later stressed his intention to remove the song from fans: “That’s why I’m going to ask to remove the music video from YouTube on Monday. I killed him, Fagot. Take it off the digital platforms too. Because at no point did I want to take advantage of the community, the flag, anyone, ever. If I took advantage of people I would be beyond where I am today.”

“I ask for respect, but I have no respect for other people’s opinions, for other people’s positioning. No one should think like me. Life doesn’t work like that. If people put any kind of expectations on me, that’s their problem, not mine,” the singer concluded.

Jojo Todynho claims he was the target of criticism from his followers after attending an event where he posed for photos alongside names affiliated with the PL (Liberal Party) of Rio de Janeiro, such as Alexandre Ramagem and Michelle Bolsonaro.
