“What is Xou da Xuxa?”: A fan meets Xuxa at Rock in Rio and recreates the meme; watch the video of the moment

“What Xou da Xuxa is this?” asked the fan, now also turned on Rock in Rio 2024. The meme that has taken over the Internet in recent days was recreated at the festival on Friday the 20th, when Patricia Velosowho is now 47 years old, met the eternal queen of short people. The scene of Patricia, then a child, indignant at being excluded from a Xuxa Meneghel in 1988 came to light with the documentary series Forever Paquitafrom Globoplay.

Thanks to her newfound fame in the virtual world, Patrícia was invited to meet the singer and presenter at Cidade do Rock. In a video posted on Instagram, Patricia appears excited, screaming and hugging her idol. “Did you get in that day?” Xuxa asks the fan, who denies it.

It was the first time that Xuxa performed at the festival, some 40 years after the beginning of her career, in an action of Banco Itaú, held in the activation space of the brand that sponsors the event. She sang after Katy Perry left the World Stage, attracting a crowd.

Understand the meme
