On the way to Rock in Rio, MC Livinho “invaded” a live report to dance a little in the background, next to the Rede Globo reporter. The news spread was about a serious accident that caused three deaths this Saturday, 21, in Serra das Araras, in Piraí (RJ). After being criticized for his attitude by Internet users, the artist took to social media to say that he did not know that the traffic was due to an accident.

“In general, saying that an accident had happened and we are here stuck in traffic, we didn’t know that any accident had happened, apparently. I also archived the video out of respect for you,” MC Livinho said, on Instagram.

“And I’m not going to stop being a reviewer, forget it. I’ll always be a reviewer. But I didn’t know there was an accident, I thought they were filming traffic,” he added, in the same video.

The artist later released another album, this time in a more serious tone, wishing “condolences to everyone,” after learning of the tragedy. And he added: “Come on, those who know Livinho know that I will never stop bringing you joy, I will never stop bringing my self-esteem, my review, strength. Rock in Rio, I have arrived.”

At Rock in Rio, MC Livinho will perform on the New Dance Order stage, at Espaço Favela, around 8:40 p.m. The “Forever Funk” attraction will also feature Mc Don Juan, MC Dricka, MC Hariel, MC IG and MC PH.

A serious bus accident caused the death of at least three people and injured six others this Saturday, 21, in Serra das Araras, in Piraí (RJ). The information comes from Rio Sul TVa Globo affiliate in the region.

Among the passengers on the bus were athletes from the American football team Coritiba Crocodiles Oficial. The vehicle was traveling to Rio to play a match against Flamengo Imperadores in the Brasileirão category. According to the report, the fatal victims are three men aged 20, 35 and 40.

The team took to social media to address the incident. “We are closely monitoring the situation and providing the necessary support to the injured and their families (…) Our hearts are heavy and we ask everyone to send their prayers and positive energy.”

The company responsible for the bus involved in the accident, Princesa dos Campos, released a statement regretting the incident and saying that they are investigating the causes.

“The company is providing full assistance to the victims, sending the other passengers who were not injured to hotels in the region. The causes of the accident are being investigated, with the hiring of an expert specialized in accidents of this type.”
