THE Federal Police (PF) asked for the singer to be included Gustavo Lima on the Interpol red list. The compatriot had already been included in the International Trafficking System, which allows the suspect to be detained when he passes through any migration point in Brazil. Interpol’s Red List is a mechanism used to publicize arrest warrants for individuals outside the country, allowing the organization’s member countries to execute the warrants if those targets move.

On Monday 23rd the compatriot had a request for his arrest issued by the Judge Andréa Calado da Cruz of the Court of Justice of Pernambuco (TJPE)The singer is suspected of participating in a money laundering scheme that involved gambling and the sale of an airplane.

The arrest warrant is part of the same operation that arrested the lawyer and digital influencer Deolane Bezerra, Operation Integration.

Before the TJPE ordered his arrest, the singer Gustavo Lima traveled to Miami, Florida, where he owns a villa for himself and his family. He also performed at a rodeo in the city of Jaguariúna, inland from São Paulo, in the early hours of Sunday 22nd, and then, that same night, he traveled to Cidade do Rock, in Rio de Janeiro, for the last day of the Rock in Rio.
