Zefa Leonel remembers the difficulty of the birth, Seu Tico Leonel says that everyone had already disillusioned his sister-in-law. At a time when the disappointments were constant, Tia Salete even picked up the baby and left, shocked. Until she began to recognize the girl, believing that she was another child of the Leonel couple.
In an emotional scene, Zefa Leonel says that her biggest regret in life was not telling her sister the truth. However, she was afraid of hurting her and her niece, as well as fearing for the seamstress’s health. Tia Salete accuses Zefa Leonel of stealing her right to be a mother.
