Ana Maria Braga reveals the default of R$3,000 by an extinct broadcaster

Ana Maria Braga surprised viewers of Globe sharing a bitter experience he had at the beginning of his career. The presenter recalled working at the now defunct TV Tupi between 1977 and 1980 and did not receive wages due after the network’s failure.

During her time in Tupi, Ana Maria hosted numerous news programs, but, like more than 3 thousand employees, she was fired without warning and without receiving the amounts she was owed.

“They sent us away like this. They paid nothing! Me and 3 thousand other people. We were all left without work and we received nothing for the years we worked. I had worked for 3 years, only 4… but there they were people who were in their 30s,”. the presenter said.

After Tupi closed, Ana Maria needed to reinvent herself and started working as a press officer and editor of women’s magazines. His return to television occurred in 1993, when he began working at Documentation with the program Note and note.
