Who is Liam Payne? The former One Direction member died after falling from the third floor of the hotel

Former One Direction singer, Liam Payne died this Wednesday, 16/10, in the Argentine hotel CasaSur, in Buenos Aires, after falling from the third floor. At just 31 years old, the artist leaves behind a 7-year-old son, Il Payne Bearand a legacy in his artistic career.

Career

Liam made his artistic debut at the age of 12, when he played Tony Manero in a musical of “Saturday Night Fever”. But it was at the age of 16 that he became a music icon, when he was selected for One Direction, in an audition on the program “The X Factor”.

Next to Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan AND Zayn Malik, He was part of the group for six years and they were considered the biggest boy band of the decade, releasing hits such as “What Makes You Beautiful”, “The Story of My Life” AND ‘Nocturnal changes’.

After the end of the band, he pursued a solo career, like the other members, and released the album in 2019 “LP1”.

Death

According to the Argentine authorities, before the death of Liamthe police were called to detain “an aggressive man” who was allegedly “under the influence of drugs or alcohol”. According to the newspaper La Nacion, the Payne he died after falling from the third floor of the hotel.
