Without a TV program since the end of ‘Sábado Total’, on RedeTV!, Gilberto Barros is currently present in two highly commented audiovisual productions.

She appears in the Disney+ documentary series “Volta, Priscila,” airing on Band, about the disappearance of Priscila Belfort, sister of MMA fighter Vitor Belfort.

The 65-year-old presenter reports on the coverage of the case. At the time, its production team said it had received a call from someone with information about the young woman’s disappearance. The mystery has turned 20 years old.

Famous by his nickname Leão, he can also be seen in the film “Maniac do Parque – Um Serial Killer Brasileiro”, premiering this Friday (18) on Amazon Prime Video.

In this case, the communicator tries his hand as an actor by playing himself in the scenes of a detective program that follows the hunt for the criminal played by Silvero Pereira. A few days ago, increasingly thinner and grayer, Barros attended the production launch event.

The journalist became famous when he directed ‘Cidade Alerta’, on Record, in the late 1990s. Before that, he had worked on ‘SPTV’ and ‘Globo Rural’.

When he moved into entertainment, he covered attractions such as “Leão Livre” and “Boa Noite Brasil”. It had good ratings in prime time.

In August 2017, without a contract with a television broadcaster, Gilberto Barros participated in the telenovela ‘Pega Pega’, on Globo, living himself in a crime report.
