Marco Pigossi explains how he fell in love with his husband: “I started crying”

In August this year, the actor Marco Pigossi married the Italian director Marco Calvani. And on the 5th the film High tidedirected by the Italian, with the Brazilian in the main role, was screened for the first time in Brazil.

Marco Pigossi he explained that the story began behind the scenes of the film three years ago. “I tell everyone I have a love story [de verdade] behind the love story [do filme]. We fell in love when he finished the script”, revealed in an interview with the North American magazine’s website Variety published last Friday, 18.

“He would ask me things like, ‘What is your favorite poem in Brazil? What would be a very conservative city in the interior of the country?’. I didn’t know what he was writing, I hadn’t even thought of the script,” the Brazilian recalled.

Finally, Pigossi spoke about the couple’s decision to share the same roof: “And then we started living together a month later, as a lesbian couple, and he gave me the script. The poem I told him was at the very beginning of the lyrics. I immediately started crying and he told me: ” I wrote this for you. I fell in love with you just as I fell in love with the character.”
