Giulia Manfrini suffers a terrible accident in Indonesia and dies at the age of 36
The surfer and the influencer Giulia Manfrini36 years old, died after being speared by a swordfish while surfing in the Mentawai Islands, Indonesia.
Although the Italian received help, she succumbed to her injuries and died in a local hospital. Lahmudin Siregarhead of the Mentawai Disaster Management agency, revealed that a swordfish jumped and hit Giulia in the chest.
The influencer was very well known in the Italian surfing scene, with more than 21 thousand followers on Instagram. The tragedy generated a wave of mourning among Giulia’s colleagues.
