Trump calls “annoying” journalist and tells her to be silent during a press conference in the White House

The president interrupted the correspondent Ebony McMorris when he was asked for information on sending the National Guard to Memphis

During a press conference held on Friday, at the Oval Hall, the President of the United States Donald Trump starred in another clash with the press. The scene occurred when Ebony McMorris, correspondent of American urban radio networks, tried to question it on the possibility of sending the national guard to Memphis, since he had already been adopted in the city such as Los Angeles and Washington, DC to repress protests.

“When will you provide the details?” The journalist started. Trump, however, did not let the question complete. By interrupting McMorris, the president reacted hard, “Silence. You are very annoying.”

“I’m not annoying, but I’m trying to ask what your plans are for Memphis,” continued the journalist. “You are very annoying. I won’t talk to you until I mentioned you,” concluded Trump.

McMorris’ interrogation was linked to the increase in violence in Memphis and the criticisms by experts indicating the risk of escalation of the conflict with the use of the national guard in urban areas.
