Rodrigo Faro’s wife gave an interview to ‘Domingo Espetacular’
Vera said that by insisting on an MRI, Faro was instrumental in discovering the malignant tumor in her left thigh. “He was used by God to save me”Vera said excitedly, recalling the moment when the test revealed a rare and aggressive type of cancer.
“The feeling [de ver o exame] it was a rapid heartbeat. The first person I turned to was Rodrigo. I said, ‘Are you ready? We will have to be strong.’ It wasn’t a benign nodule, it was malignant”Vera said.
The surgery, which took place on the 13th, the day before his birthday, lasted about eight hours. During the operation, Vera said she had an encounter with God, strengthening her faith in the process: “Why did all this happen on the eve of my birthday? God chose that day because I would be reborn.”
