The television audience certainly misses Gabriela Duarte. The actress’ most recent soap opera was in 2018, when she played Julieta, the “coffee queen,” in Globo’s “Pride and Paixão.”

Now, in a new professional phase, she launches herself as a videocast presenter. Command “POD, man?” together with fellow artist Renata Castro Barbosa. The two have been friends for over 40 years.

The focus of the program is to discuss the various aspects surrounding true friends. A new episode premieres every Thursday on their YouTube channel.

On her Instagram profile, Gabriela posts videos with reflections on maturity. In one of them, for example, he talked about menopause. “You start to not recognize the woman you were… For me it was a process of ups and downs. I think I dribbled well.”

Over the course of 2 1/2 years, the actress wrote a book detailing her experiences in her fifties. The work in collaboration with the journalist and screenwriter Brunna Condini will be released soon.

“It was necessary to share the things that I consider important in my life, not only from the point of view of public personality, but also from the point of view of identity,” he said in a video on a social network. “I’m sure people don’t know Gabriela from the book.”
