Former assistant of Silvio Santos, Roque’s health status has been made known

Gonçalo Roqueiconic stage assistant of Silvio Santohas been hospitalized in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the São Luiz Hospital, in Sao Paulo, since last Thursday (24).

In a statement to Estadaothe hospital said Roque was hospitalized due to a lung infection and that his condition remains stable. He is awake, does not require oxygen supplementation or organic support, but remains under monitoring, with no expected discharge.

Janilda NogueiraRoque’s wife, updated the public on the state of her husband’s health this Friday (25), revealing that he had improved in the last hours and expressing hope for his recovery: “He is well, God willing, he will return home soon”, said the Estadao.

Hospitalization occurs in the context of a recent history of health complications. Roque, who has worked alongside Silvio Santos for more than five decades, has shown signs of weakness in recent weeks, including a lack of appetite, his wife said.
