Angelina Jolie’s Untold Romance: Why They Didn’t Work Out With Colin Farrell

A film about the legendary commander Alexander the Great was released in 2004. Its record budget for that time (150 million dollars) did not bribe either the audience or the critics – the film turned out to be unintelligible and pompous. But its main decoration, without a doubt, can be called Angelina Jolie, who played the role of Olympia, the mother of Alexander. The actress at that time was at the peak of beauty.

Her on-screen son was Colin Farrell, unrecognizable with bleached hair and a thoughtful expression.

Much more interesting than the battle of Macedonian with Ptolemy, the audience was awakened by information about an affair on the set. Bloggers and tabloids unanimously repeated it: Angelina fell in love with Colin! Information on condition of anonymity was confirmed by members of the film crew: they claimed that the stars shared a room during the filming of Alexander.

Paparazzi photos added fuel to the fire: the actors were caught in Egypt. The couple wandered on the stones of Giza and looked like a family: Angelina carried little Maddox, her first adopted child, in her arms, and Colin hugged her gently, resting his cheek on the top of her head…

But it was a deceptive romance: As ubiquitous insiders reported, Jolie was far more ready for a serious relationship than Farrell. Of course, he was flattered by the attention of the woman the whole world craved, but he had absolutely no intention of giving up his playboy lifestyle, which included free love and illegal substances.

Out of this bitter yeast of unfulfilled hopes, an office romance between Angelina and Brad Pitt began. After finishing the promotional tour of “Alexander” and cutting all ties with the “son” of the screen, Jolie plunged headlong into a passion that became, without a doubt, the most commented novel of the decade.

And what about Colin? Apparently, for him, it was an option “and it’s hard to bear, and it’s a shame to stop”. From time to time, information appears about the couple’s new contacts and supposedly preserved chemistry between them. By 2018, they were rumored to have resumed their relationship, and Angelina even introduced Farrell to the kids: much to the chagrin of Pitt’s ex-husband at the time, who knew Colin and his recklessness all too well. But something makes me think that train is gone, and Jolie is not at all interested in a romantic relationship with anyone.
