During an interview with Podpah, Carlinhos Maia he revealed that he was abused a few times during his childhood by neighbors, relatives and even a teacher. He said that, for a long time, he avoided putting children on his lap to avoid reliving traumas and avoid being misunderstood. She recently began hugging her nephew, a significant step in her healing journey.

How did you overcome the trauma?

“As a child I was abused several times, by neighbors, relatives… thank God I didn’t become a criminal.
