‘Spy Kids’ actor arrested for domestic violence

The actor Roberto Vitoknown for his role in the film Spy Kids 3: Endgame (2003), was arrested for domestic violence on the night of Friday 8th, after an argument with his girlfriend, which also involved an attack on his little son. The case was revealed by TMZ on Saturday 9th.

The case was discovered when the police were called to a domestic incident at the actor’s home in Los Angeles (USA), where they found evidence of a verbal argument that escalated into physical violence.

According to authorities, Robert pushed his girlfriend against the furniture and then threw his young son onto the couch, causing him to fall. During the police intervention, the girlfriend had visible marks on her body, but her son was not injured.

Robert Vito was arrested at the scene and charged with domestic violence. After the incident, he posted bail of $50,000 – about R$287,000 – and was released the following morning.

The actor became known for his role as Rez, one of the video game contestants in the 2003 film, which featured a cast including Daryl Sabara, Alexa PenaVega, Salma Hayek, Sylvester Stallone and Antonio Banderas.

Furthermore, Robert also appeared in the series Port Charles (2000-2001) and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer (2001), and in films such as Urban Legend 3: Mary’s Revenge (2005). The Robot Rebellion (2011) was his most recent work.
