Fan of the Californian band LinkinPark enjoyed the group’s performance in Sao Paulo this weekend. The group, returning to Brazil after seven years and a change of lineup, was surprised by an unusual “gift” thrown on stage: a pair of panties.

The accident occurred during the last show of the tour. From Zero World Tour in Brazil, held this Saturday, 16th, at Allianz Parque, in Sao Paulo. The moment the band’s new singer, Emily Armstrong, takes off her underwear on stage was recorded by a fan and posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Co-lead singer Mike Shinoda chatted with the audience, while Emily interacted with some fans. In the video, you can see her bending over to see something on stage, picking up the piece and making a disgusted face before dropping her red panties on the floor.

“The level of chaos in this video. Emily throws a paper airplane, picks up a pair of panties from the floor, gets shocked and throws them back on the floor. Then she picks up a pair of glasses, tries to put them on Mike and he doesn’t want them and she puts them on. Thank you Linkin Park for playing Emily Armstrong,” wrote the fan who posted the images.

The video is already approaching the finish line of a 1 million views.

Formed in 1996 in Agoura Hills, California, the current lineup of the rock band Linkin Park includes members who have been part of the group for years: singer and multi-instrumentalist Mike Shinoda, guitarist Brad Delson, bassist Dave Farrell and DJ Joe Hahn .

Singer Emily Armstrong, 38, joined Linkin Park in September this year. He replaces Chester Bennington, who was found dead in his home in Palos Verdes Estates, Southern California. In addition to Emily, drummer Colin Brittain also joined the band in September this year.

With the first albums Hybrid theory (2000) e Meteor (2003), which brought together hits such as In the end, Crawling, fainting AND Numbthe band reached fans all over the world and is still remembered today.
