In images posted on social media, it is possible to see that Major RD is placing his foot on top of a car, when he is quickly hit by fire. The flame reached the singer’s right arm and part of his face.
He immediately left the event site and sat on the stage, where he was assisted by firefighters and festival staff. The music stopped a few minutes later, while he was already being helped.
He returned to the stage to finish his performance at the event. “My brother Djonga said, Fire in the artists. Thank you Mainstreet Festival, everything was beautiful,” he wrote on his Instagram profile. Despite the situation, the rapper reacted with good humor to the incident, which occurred during the performance of the hit “Só Rock”.
