Neymar da Silva Santos, father of player Neymar Júnior, revealed in a podcast interview that he became a millionaire before his son Round cast. The total refers to three taxes, between R$ 1,720,229.66, for 2022, and R$ 7,217,820, for 2024, which the company owes to the City of São Paulo. The non-payment fell into the municipality’s active debt.

The same company also has 56 traffic fines pending since 2018. The amounts range from R$ 12.76 to R$ 140, of which 43, for a total of R$ 1,912.34, have already been corrected.

Neymar Pai also appears as an individual with a dirty name, according to the website. He had a protested title of R $ 207, in August 2020, after having defaulted in the city of Santos. A shop owner in Balneário Camboriú, in Santa Catarina, he couldn’t even meet his bills.

Furthermore, the player’s father did not pay the company that sold him the air conditioning system of the four-story penthouse that his son purchased in the city of Santa Catarina, the ‘Neyplex’. The largest outstanding invoice amounts to just over R$5,000 and has been charged since April this year.

A list published by the portal Sporty states that Neymar is the 16th highest paid sportsman on the planet, being the only Brazilian to appear in the list of 50 personalities. The player’s assets, which largely belong to his father’s companies, are valued at R$6 billion.
