The actress Letizia Spiller maintains a solid friendship with her ex-husband Marcello Novaes. Recently, during an appearance on the program Lady Night, she revealed that she even encourages Marcello to go out with his friends.

“For me it’s something so natural. This friendship between fathers and mothers should be the most common, because the story continues. It’s no longer about us or our ego, it’s about them (the children), what comes next. I’ve always thought that love transforms. I believe that we should not have a feeling of possession or attachment to people,” Leticia told O Globo newspaper.

This partnership is also reflected in the creation of his son Pedro Novaes, the fruit of his marriage with Marcello. Still speaking to the newspaper, Leticia praised the young actor, recently protagonist of the soap opera Garota do Momento. “We exchanged a lot of advice. Let’s write together. Sometimes he asks for a little help and I give it to him, it’s always been like that. For me it’s a pleasure. I am a loving mother. I love exchanging with him, we are very friends and partners,” shared the actress.

In addition to Pedro, Leticia also celebrates her close relationship with her daughter-in-law, Eduarda Vilar, who is already part of the family. “We are very good friends and have even traveled together. I love Duda very much. They’ve been together for a long time, so it’s already family,” he said.

Amid these family ties, the actress’s career continues to grow. Leticia is in the cast of the film Inexplicable, by Fabrício Bittar, which will be released next Thursday, the 5th.

Inspired by true events, the film tells the story of a mother’s struggle to deal with the serious illness of her son, a young futsal player. “I was very inspired by this woman, who is a force of nature, and by this family, who is very united and loving, who does not give up fighting for their son’s life. Because it’s a true story, everything was very intense and difficult. It required a lot of concentration on the set and unity,” he said.

For their performance in the film, Leticia and Eriberto Leão were awarded Best Actress and Best Actor at the 2024 Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival.
