Clara Moneke was moved to tears during ‘Domingão com Huck’

The actress Clara Moneke he moved the audience during his participation in the program Domingão com Huck, last Sunday (8). In the painting “Believe in Whom You Want,” Clara relives one of the most difficult moments in her life: her father, Chiedu Moneke,’s struggle with a serious illness after suffering a stroke.




Accompanied by her grandmother, Dona Maria de Lourdes, Clara was surprised by a touching testimony from her Nigerian father, who appeared in a video to thank his daughter for the essential role he played in her recovery. “I came back to life thanks to Clara,” said Chiedu, bringing tears to the actress and moving the audience.

Clara shared details of the critical moment she learned about the severity of her father’s condition, when she was called to say goodbye to him. However, instead of giving in to despair, he chose affection as his driving force. “I held his hand, sang Bob Marley, and he got better. It’s the force of love, the supreme force in the world,” Clara declared.

The actress also highlighted how her relationship with her father has strengthened since the accident. “It’s been a struggle, but he’s back and I’m so grateful for that.” she said excitedly. She believes simple gestures, such as singing to him during treatment, were crucial to his recovery. On stage, the presence of her grandmother, Dona Maria de Lourdes, made the moment even more special.
