The show ‘It prevents‘, starring Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, arrived in São Paulo with an open-air megastructure, in the Parque Villa-Lobos. The work sheds light on the life of Eva Peronformer First Lady of Argentina who, in the populist scene of the second half of the twentieth century, fought for the female vote and against the label of social climber.

At the height of the Sao Paulo winter, the protagonists Cleto Baccic (Juan Perón), Myra Ruiz (Eva Peron) and Mariano Fernando (che Guevara) face a sort of “athlete routine” to keep immunity up to date and avoid session cancellations. Among the treatments provided by the artists are vitamin injections, strict diets, and even a 12-hour vocal fast.

“Every 15 days my endocrinologist applies a serum of vitamins into my vein to make sure I have all the nutrients possible. Even the food and hydration must be very precise. I also do nebulization to ensure a better rest to the voice. A super period. dry, so I always stay close to the humidifier, “he says Myra Ruyzin an interview with Land.

The actress, who describes herself as a “young woman with an elderly soul”, says she has given up on going out at night, clubs, alcoholic drinks and food to improve her performance on stage. One of the habits she adopts is not to talk on the day of the show, to save energy for the stage.

The show season, which runs until August 28, is a period of constant health alert.

“It’s a marathon that we run every night. It’s two sessions. If I walk into the mall, my head is on the air conditioning temperature. I think, ‘I can’t stay here for long.’ alert, “he said she adds.

The rule is discipline

Myra’s husband in the play, Cleto Bacic, is also not negligent. Despite his sporadic cough, his number one rule is discipline. Like Myra, he has given up on his social life, alcohol and even followed an unusual regimen to keep his immunity up to date.

“I’m at zero parties. I’m home alone, have a 12-hour oral regimen, follow up with a speech therapist, physiotherapy to avoid injuring any muscle, and also have follow-up with an otolaryngologist,” he lists.

Actor Mariano Fernando, who plays Che Guevara, reinforces the importance of this athlete’s routine to manage the show’s Open Air structure. In addition to follow-up with an otolaryngologist and inhaling to moisten the vocal cords, he still has to go through a strict diet and specific training routine.

“I take a vitamin complex and have a very correct diet, with times to eat and drink water, all this to have energy at the time of the show. To be aware, I eat 12 eggs a day. […]but water is the fundamental part of my preparation “, he adds.
