J. Neto’s ex-wife opens up after her son’s death: ‘I sailed alone’

J. Neto’s son died on November 14

Rogeria Costamother of Miguel Azevedo and ex-wife of the gospel singer J. Netospoke for the first time after the young man’s death on November 14. In conversation with the column Fabia Oliveirafrom Metropolisshe said she watched her son alone, criticizing her ex’s stance in the midst of the situation.

“I watched over my son alone. Him [J. Neto] He arrived at the cemetery at 1am and left at 1.30am saying he needed to rest to feel good “tomorrow”. And I spent 50 hours of my life awake, until the last moment. The father needed to rest and I, as the mother, had to provide for myself. Like I did. I handled everything myself”, Rogeria said.

Rogéria also made accusations against J. Neto, revealing details of a troubled relationship between father and son. According to her, Miguel “just wanted a happy family and not a drunken father.”

“I raised José Miguel alone until he was 15. At the end of last year, his father promised me to live with him. And in the meantime, his father promised in January that he would come and that started to create anxiety in my life. February, March went through April, May, June and July… I called the Guardianship Council and gave them the responsibility to call the father by pushing with my stomach in my son, and also depression in me I tried to do it in all of them forms of arguing with my son. I wasn’t the best mother in the world, but I wasn’t the worst either.” completed.

Also according to Rogéria, gospel singer J. Neto consumes a lot of alcohol. “The father came to live here in Guapimirim, but due to the daily consumption of alcohol, this was really creating problems for my son. It is not a pension that makes a son happy. He wanted a happy family through the presence of his father, but not a drunken father, as he said”fired.

The mother attacks the singer

Miguel’s mother told of an argument that father and son had had three days before his death. “Three days earlier there had been an argument between father and son. Luckily I was there. He pointed his finger in Miguel’s face,” explained.

“Paying alimony does not mean being a father. Being a father means being there, present. He lives a promiscuous life, he has no fear of God. And why did I decide to say it now? Because I lost the most precious thing. I had José Miguel who got 70 % from his mother and left 30% because I still have a 24 year old daughter, also J. Neto’s daughter.” he said.

“Let’s stop with the hypocrisy, okay? Singing, deceiving people, enough! We are coming to the end times, we live in the apocalypse, nothing more. And it makes no sense to say that we will go to heaven, to hell, because the ‘Hell is where we live’he added.

“José Miguel was born on his father’s birthday, it was the gift I gave to his father. And I’m sure that every time August 27 comes, he will remember that his son is no longer there with him”he underlined.

Finally, she lamented that the gospel singer had been “celebrating” the fact that he was gaining followers after his son’s death.

Rogéria criticized the coverage of the death, but was surprised by J. Neto. “They become like butchers”, he said. “In exchange they give me more followers”, he replied. “Besides the death of my son. I know you are a public man, but I think he is a coward”he replied. “Our son. I can’t stop the news”added the artist.
