In addition to the Republican, 15 other people have received the title more than once, including three other presidents: Barack Obama, Bill Clinton AND George W. Bush.

According to Time’s editor-in-chief, Sam JacobsTrump’s political rebirth is unparalleled in the history of the United States.

“Trump’s political resurgence is unparalleled in American history. His first term ended in disgrace, with his attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election culminating in the attack on the U.S. Capitol,” he wrote.

Another achievement of the businessman highlighted by the magazine was his victory seven states of the pendulum during this year’s presidential election.

“He was rejected by most party officials when he announced his candidacy in late 2022, amid multiple criminal investigations. Just over a year later, Trump cleared the Republican field, winning one of the most competitive presidential primaries of history,” he added.

In an interview with Time magazine, the president-elect said Republicans had hit “a nerve in the country” in what he called “72 days of fury.” But, per the publication, the businessman “ran with a strongman vision, proposing to deport millions of migrants, dismantle parts of the federal government, seek revenge against his political opponents and dismantle institutions that millions of people see as censorious and corrupt”.
