“Not on the table. Action taken. Please get supervisor approval to try again,” the computer screen says. “These people locked my computer. They locked my computer because I was cooking. Brother, that’s why they don’t want us to work from home,” says TikToker.
In another video, she states that she is not allowed to turn off the camera and that her supervisor takes several photos of her during the day at work. She states that her computer is locked if she is caught getting up from her desk, using her cell phone, or if someone else is in the room.
According to the international newspaper Daily point, Jay confirmed she was fired by a company human resources employee on Thursday 20, due to the jobs. Shortly thereafter, she was called to an online meeting, in which it was claimed that she had been suspended until further investigations into the videos were carried out.
The videos posted on Tik Tok went viral and several users commented on the publication. “This level of micromanagement will keep them with a high turnover rate,” commented one profile. “Girl! Time to go,” said the second. “You always have to cover your camera,” warns a third.
