The host Luisa Mell used social media to defend herself from the controversy over the rescue of Margarida Bonetti’s dog, which became known as A Mulher da Casa Abbandonada, after the success of the podcast by Chico Felitti. Three dogs were rescued on the property, located in Higienópolis, an upscale district of São Paulo.
In the video he appears with the animals and one of the veterinarians of the Luisa Mell Institute, explaining the state of health of a dog, which has breast tumors.
“The dog has breast cancer. Various tumors. Yesterday he told me [Margarida Bonetti] which I had not seen, because I was not a vet. I think anyone can see the size of this tumor. He does not take care of veterinary medicine, and there is no shortage of money either, ”says the presenter.
Luisa carried out two rescues on the property. In the first, she identified two large dogs, in unsanitary conditions, as she explains. Her team returned to the scene days later after several reports of cats inside the house. A third dog was found on the spot.
“It has another aspect, this dog [a menor] I had nails that I could not walk, and this is also very harmful to the dog. And the place was totally unhealthy, which puts the whole community at risk, “he says.
In the publication he still criticizes the Internet users who defend Margarida Bonetti in this situation, and mentions the crime for which the woman was wanted by the FBI, but never even paid.
