She Married a Prince: The True Story of a Minsk Waitress Hard to Believe

A rare girl does not dream of marrying a prince. For Natalie Aliyeva from Minsk, the dream has come true. The girl comes from a simple family, in the 2000s she graduated from high school and entered the Institute of Physical Education, and in her free time worked as a waitress in one of the hotels elite of the Belarusian capital.

In August 2007, a fateful meeting took place. Natasha brought a glass of juice to the room in which the Prince of Dubai Said bin Maktoum al-Maktoum, who flew to Belarus for a shooting competition, was installed.

As soon as he saw the Slavic beauty, Said decided that he would go home only with her. Natasha couldn’t resist the Dubai ruler’s nephew, billionaire and athlete, and accepted. A week later, the sheikh asked Aliyeva’s parents for her hand, and they, in turn, did not resist the feminine happiness of their daughter. And bless the young.

Natasha’s father insisted on an official wedding, and the lovers got married in Minsk. The wedding was very modest: the groom was afraid that they would find out about his marriage before returning to the Emirates.

In September 2007, Natasha entered a fairy tale in reality. Arriving with her husband in Dubai, she immediately received the keys to her own mansion, a luxury car with personal driver, luxury outfits and jewelry, bodyguards and other delights of a rich life.

Relatives treated the daughter-in-law warmly. Well received Natalia and the first wife of Said al-Maktoum. Yes, yes, here it is the main fly in the ointment. Aliyeva had to share her husband with another.

Natasha converted to Islam and became Sheikha Aisha al-Maktoum, and soon gave birth to a daughter. Alas, years later, harmony in the family began to fade. Growing up in a different country with a different mentality, Aliyeva wanted to be listened to and given the right to choose.

Constant bickering led Said to distance himself from his wife, and in 2015 he brought his third wife into his harem. Relations eventually turned sour, and Natasha, as they say, was left alone. She still lives in her mansion with her daughter, her husband fully supports her, but she does not see him himself.
