Message of affection during the ceremony

Preta Gil surprised Sabrina Sato and Nicolas Prattes with a video call during the wedding ceremony held this Friday (1/10), in Porto Feliz, in the hinterland of São Paulo. The singer, who has been hospitalized since December recovering from surgery related to his cancer treatment, wanted to congratulate the couple shortly after they made their union official.

As soon as they were declared husband and wife, Sabrina and Nicolas spoke to the singer, who appeared emotional. “You are very beautiful! I am very excited for you! Have fun!”, Preta said. In response, Sabrina cheered, “I got married, friend! I got married!” Preta celebrated the moment with enthusiasm: “Thank God!” The moment was shared by the singer in her Instagram stories.

Absence for health reasons

Preta Gil, 50, was unable to attend the wedding because she had been hospitalized since the end of December, recovering from surgery performed just before Christmas. The procedure is part of the artist’s ongoing cancer treatment.

Plans for a new celebration

During the phone call Sabrina promised to organize a second party with her friend present. “This was just a preview. At our wedding party you will have to sing. You are well, friend,” the presenter said.
