New phase! Pitty surprised fans by revealing two major changes in her life. In addition to announcing a career break, the singer also confirmed that she is single. In a post on Instagram she reported that her marriage to Daniel Weksler, drummer of the band NX Zero, ended after 17 years.

In the publication, Pitty wanted to underline the amicable tone of the separation: “Life and its cycles. One who ends is always another who begins. Here, the decision to no longer be a couple brings together the choice to remain friends, partners and to transmute love while respecting our history and desires of the future Let’s continue”he wrote.

Discreet about their personal lives, Pitty and Daniel rarely revealed details of their relationship, but remained together for nearly two decades. The couple also shares the responsibility of raising 6-year-old Madalena.
