Trump’s youngest son’s gesture draws attention during the televised inauguration

Discreet, Barron stood out for his height and deference to his father’s political rivals.

After Donald Trump took the oath of office confirming him as the 47th president of the United States, the attitude of his youngest son, Barron, gained prominence in the official broadcast of the ceremony at the Capitol.

TV showed him approaching former President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris to congratulate them. He was the only one of the Republican’s 5 children to do such kindness to the Democrats.

Other times the 2.06 meter tall young man stood out in the images. At the age of 18, he studied economics at New York University’s Stern School. He will therefore continue to live in Trump Tower and will only travel to the White House on certain weekends and during holidays.

His mother, First Lady Melania, has announced that she will divide her time between the capital of the United States and the Big Apple so as not to leave her son alone for long periods.

After shaking hands with Joe Biden, Barron greeted former vice president and defeated presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
