Rodrigo Santoro, 49, reflected what he learned over 32 years as an actor. According to him, he searched simple things and underlines that age does not define it, but the choices he made.

I never imagined that it would go to 50 and still had so much to learn. […] Over time you get tools, deeper. He also gets some donors. But overall I feel very well, “he said.

In a recent interview with “Folha de São Paulo “He said that at the beginning of his career he spent all day thinking about the character he would play, even outside the scene. “Today I see that there was an exaggeration in this, it was not exactly healthy,” he said.

“I learned that there are ways and ways to concentrate. Now disconnect, recycling and I come back with another energy for the scene, because I have less insecurities, “he explained.

He also said he learned to become more selective and gained the freedom to say no, over time, but always doing his best. “Whether it’s cooking an egg or making a shakespeare,” he said.

The actor is launching this Sunday 16, Gabriel Mascaro’s science fiction drama “The last blue”at the Berlin Festival.
