Natural of Salvador, Felipe Velozo (37) lives an unprecedented experience at the Carnival of this year: for the first time, closely follows the feast of the Rio de Janeiro blocks for Glo on the street —The coverage of the party in Brazil made by TV Globo.

While the country’s celebrations have fun, the actor and the journalist work doubled at high summer temperatures. In chat with the magazine BoysFelipe Velozo enhances the animation for this challenge. Take a look at the conversation below!

Your summer is agitated! How is this period?

Summer, for me, is like the World Cup. It is the period in which I work most in the year. This requires physical training, bodybuilding, race, boxing. I begin to intensify the work in August to strengthen my immunity and my body.

And what do you expect from your first carnival in Rio?

I find it curious. I am finding the plurality of our country as much as possible. It is all Brazil on the screen.

What are the best memories of Baldoria?

I started my career as a percussionist, I was already a party on the popcorn, on the trios, in the cabins. I have good memories of bands, shows, love.

How is your relationship with self -esteem? How do you deal with compliments and sung?

My car -testimone has grown a lot. As a man of color, we have not seen each other in this ideal of beauty because they have no references on the screen. So I work to occupy this place, so that a boy who resembles me can see himself there. In real life, people have no half of the courage they have on the internet. I think it’s wonderful to flirt. Who doesn’t like being flirted? But I also wanted to roll in real life!

His friendship with Amaury Lorenzo and Samuel de Assis won social networks. How did this report happen?

We are brothers. We met a few years ago and divided pains and loves. We are our support network. It’s nice to live next to these two guys.

How did your daughter Helena influence her life?

Being a father is the role I dedicate most, I always try to evolve. Helena’s arrival multiplies my sensitivity. If we consider ourselves good people and we are reproducing it, we put new people of good in this world, who transport messages of love and tolerance. This is what I believe in.

What are the next planes?

The goal is to return to the theater. That’s where I came from there and that’s where I will never go. I have a musical project, my samba wheel, fasting, which can manage the country. I am the living proof of this. I can take a message of hope, incentives and representativeness.
