The singer Paul Flores, Known as “El Ruso” and the main singer of the famous Band Cumbia Armonia 10, he was killed with a gunshots last Sunday 16, while returning from a concert in San Juan de Lurigancho, a district of Lima, in Peru. The crime took place when Flores was on a bus with other members of the band, which was intercepted by armed criminals on a motorcycle.

The 40 -year -old artist was hit by at least two shots made by “Sicaries”, since the members of criminal groups are called in the region. According to reports on witnesses, armed men did not give any chance to the victim and the action was fast and brutal.

The members of the band have confirmed that in recent times the group had been threatened by criminal organizations that asked for large quantities of money to allow them to continue their presentations.

In response to the escalation of violence, the Peruvian government has announced a state of emergency in Lima, the capital of the country and Callao, after having increased the extortion of the gangs. The measure will allow the armed forces to act together with the national police in facing criminal organizations that dominate various sectors of the company.
