Justice gives a surprising opinion on the action of Jeniffer Oliveira against Douglas Sampaio

In a judicial turn, the actress and influencer Jeniffer Oliveira had a victory against her ex -boyfriend, the actor Douglas Sampaio. The judge Claudia Monteiro Albuquerque, from the 2nd civil court of the District of Niterói, declared the default of Sampaio. That is, he did not show up in the process when necessary. Therefore, he did not get the defense in the cause presented by Jeniffer in March 2024, in which he requested compensation for moral damage for an amount of $ 15,000.

The process began in Sampaio’s publications on social networks, where he would have offered a reward of $ 1,000 to identify Jeniffer and released statements that, according to the defense of the actress, damaged his honor and the image. In one of these posts, during the 2024 carnival, Douglas Sampaio wrote: “I would like to know where this criminal lives. He has to pay what he owes. Anyone can help me? Reward 1,000.00”. Jeniffer’s defense claimed that this publication incited violence against her.

The Court confirmed Jeniffer’s complaint, considering that Sampaio, although duly notified, did not submit his defense within the legal deadline, which ended on September 3, 2024. Given the absence of contestation, the judge established that the actor was considered revealed. This is a type of “insubordinate”, which grants victory to the other side, as required in the legislation for these cases.
