Hermeto, 88, said he had his benefits blocked by the agency. According to the IS, he had not designed the values ​​since 2021 and, therefore, access was suspended. This happens when the insured does not withdraw money within 60 days from the date of the deposit. Therefore, the credits are returned from the bank to the IS and the payment is suspended until the situation is regulated with the registration update, including the bank. The agency also clarified that the musician receives retirement through the continuous advantage (BPC).

Pascal even rejected a repudiation note against the pension block. The musician said that the benefit was suspended because he did not deal with taking the face of face to face in the city of Curitiba, Paraná, where he hasn’t lived for more than 10 years.

Even after solving this outstanding, the musician said that access was suspended. Hermeto made a request to reactivate the benefit, but nothing was resolved. He complained that all the steps depend on the app or phone – channels that are difficult to access people in this age group. Hermeto also warned how the system deals with the elderly, including those who have dedicated their life to Brazilian culture.
