“I hate you, Jim Carrey!” : 6 filming stories where the actors kept swearing

Why do Hollywood stars sometimes refuse to act together? For example, because they just keep getting bored! And working on a film set isn’t that different from working in an office in that sense. Remember the most famous cases when your favorite actors were ready for anything, just to not be on screen in a scene.

Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones

When Carrey was asked to star in Batman Forever, he was at the height of his career. And his colleague Tommy Lee Jones was in no way enthusiastic about the role of the famous comedian. Director Joel Schumacher said he was tired of tearing them apart in the literal sense of the word!

Before filming their scene together, Kerry and Jones got into a fight at a restaurant. When Jim came to say hello, he hadn’t expected such a reaction: “He got up, staggered, hugged me and said, ‘I hate you. I really can’t stand you. “And I asked what happened, and he said, ‘I can’t stand your behavior.’

Julia Roberts and Nick Nolte

In 1994, the actors starred together in the romantic comedy I Love Trouble. They didn’t get along very well, and it showed on the screen. Things are said to have gotten so heated that director Charles Shyer filmed some scenes with each one separately to separate them.

Roberts said Nolte was “disgusting” and “seemed to irritate people on purpose”. Nick replied in the same vein, “It’s not right to throw around such words. But neither is she good. Everyone knows that.”

The feud was forgotten in 2009 when the actors ended up on the same talk show and Julia charmed Nick.

Will Smith and Janet Hubert

Fans of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air will know that the actress who played Aunt Vivian was replaced during filming. But why?

Janet Hubert played the role until 1993 when she gave it to Daphne Reid.

Turns out, Smith and her on-set co-workers constantly offended her: “They did terrible things, behaved like bad boys, Will and Alfonso Ribeiro,” the actress complained.

Will Smith responded to her words in an interview with an Atlanta radio station, saying she always treated him badly: “No matter what I did, to her I was always the Antichrist. .”

A few years later, Janet looks back on these events: “We will never reconcile, and I will never work with a bad person like Will Smith. He is self-centered and will never grow up.”

Shannon Doherty…and all

The actress who played Brenda Walsh in the television series Beverly Hills 90210 managed to quarrel with all her colleagues. She almost had a fight with Jennie Garth! Tori Spelling revealed in 2015 that she asked her father, Aaron, the show’s producer, to kick Doherty off the set.

Four years later, Shannon and Alyssa Milano feuded on Spelling’s other set, Enchanted. Alyssa: “Those were tough days…like school.”

It soon became apparent that one of them had to go, and it was Doherty again. They only reconciled in 2016 when Shannon was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Richard Gere and Sylvester Stallone

Two powerful handsome men competed for many years. And all because of the role in the movie “Lords of Flatbush” (1974)! It was like this: Richard Gere was first cast in the lead role of Chico. Stallone disagreed with this decision, and then the role went to Perry King.

Sylvester recalled Gere behaving terribly on set: “Once we went out to lunch and had a sandwich. They got into my car. I noticed Gere was about to knock mustard covered pieces of chicken off the foil and told him to be careful – I won’t tolerate dirt on my clothes. He took a piece of chicken, put it on my pants and in response I threw it out of the car. The director had to choose between us. Richard is gone and still doesn’t love me.”

Robert Downey Jr and Terrence Howard

They had a falling out after filming the first Iron Man. Howard said on a talk show that the studio had signed him for three movies, “and before the second one they came and said, ‘We’ll pay you an eighth of what we promised, because the second movie will be a hit – with or without you.'” And he was offended and blamed Downey: “I called a friend I helped get such a role, and he reminded me of three months later.” They did not reconcile until three years later.
