Jean-Claude Van Damme, 64, was accused of involvement in a sexual exploitation scheme linked to the trafficking of women in Romania. According to a complaint to the Romanian Council of organized crime and terrorism (of the Hollywood star, it would be aware that the victims had been busy and would have agreed to spend the night with five models in Cannes, France.

The lawyer Adrian Cuculis, who represents one of the victims, said that women were vulnerable. The case is part of a wider investigation conducted by the Public Service of Romania since 2020, which investigates the execution of international networks on the section of human beings and sexual exploitation. There are suspicions that minors are among the victims, which can further aggravate the process.
