Former BBB Pedro Scooby had an accident surfing with friends on Monday (1/8). In an Instagram post, he revealed that he had torn ligaments in his knee.
“How can the thing you love most hurt you ?!” she wrote. “Yesterday I injured my knee ligament while surfing this incredible wave that is Jaconé. Big wave surfing is a dangerous sport that requires attention at all times.”
“And calm down, very calm !!!”, he asked. “The knee is already new and I’ll be back (again again)”.
He didn’t seem to care about the severity of the injury, adding: “I’m thrilled to be surfing with my friends without the pressure of a championship. For me, surfing is just that: friends (lots), bangs (lots) and laughs (lots)! !! “
In Stories, Scooby also provided details on what the treatment will be like to heal. “I am going to undergo a stem cell treatment … I hope in a month to be back and ready for the big wave season,” she explained.
Plus, he’ll need to rest to recover: “I’m going to California to do my physical therapy, train and be 100% again. Me and the knee brace will be together for a while.”
