Rapper Tory Lanez, arrested for shooting the singer Megan Thee Stallion, is stabbed in prison

The rapper Tory Lanez32, was stabbed inside the penitentiary where he is 10 years old to shoot the singer Megan Thee Stallion. The attack took place on the morning of Monday, in the courtyard of the California Correctional Institution (CCI) in Tehachapi, in the United States.

According to the TMZ website, the rapper had to be taken by ambulance to a Bakersfield civil hospital after suffering serious injuries. In his profile on Instagram, the team confirmed aggression. “Tory was stabbed 14 times – including seven rear wounds, four on the trunk, two on the back of the head and one on the left side of the face. Both lungs collapsed and needed a breathing device,” says the note.

Still according to the declaration, the singer “is already breathing alone”. Despite the pain, “is speaking normally, in a good mood and deeply grateful to God for recovery”. The team also thanked the support of the fans: “He wants to thank everyone for the prayers and continuous support”.

The reasons for the attack have not been disclosed. The prison authorities have not yet officially commented on the case.

Lanez was sentenced in December 2022 for three crimes: assault with semi -automatic weapon, possession of loaded weapons and not recorded in a vehicle and shooting with negligence. The episode took place in July 2020, after a party at Kylie Jenner’s house, when the stallion Megan Thee was hit in the foot.
