Flora Gil, wife and business woman of Gilberto Gil, cried when he commented on the health of the black stepdaughter Gil. The singer was diagnosed with cancer in January 2023 and currently suffered an experimental treatment in the United States.

Enthusiastic, Flora said the family gave up the tour Time reFarewell Show of Gilberto Gil’s stage, outside of Brazil, because I wanted to be close to black. However, it was the artist who traveled abroad.

“Now we would go to the United States, to make 3 or 4 shows there, but you all know we’re going through …” Flora said, during an event of the magazine Marie ClaireBefore starting to cry.

“We didn’t want to leave Brazil to be close to black, but now it is in the United States and we are here,” added the business woman.

Flora said she studies her best way, Gil and the family are close to black. It will be in the United States while they will fulfill a concert program for Brazil.
