Michael Lichaa was to be taken to the hospital after breaking the window panes with his fist
Australian rugby player Michael Lichaa, 29, nearly died after losing 2.5 liters of blood after catching his girlfriend having sex with her teammate. In a fit of rage, the athlete punched one of the windows of the house and injured his entire arm.
According to the New York Post, the neighbors were surprised by the screams and threats they heard from the house and called the police. As soon as they arrived, the police found a pool of blood on the floor and Lichaa had to be taken to the hospital and undergo surgery before being arrested.
Court documents reported that the athlete had just woken up and was drunk when he ran into Kara Childerhouse and teammate Adam Elliot having sex in their backyard.
The player played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and was acquitted of domestic violence charges against his ex-girlfriend. Subsequently, he decided to undergo psychological counseling and a coach.
