After a beginning of Osteri, Vale Tudo’s remake shown by Globo has started to record a constant growth in public rates in recent weeks. The turning point in the trajectory of the protagonist Raquel, who lived by Taís Araujo, has increased the performance of the soap opera throughout the country, marking the best performance of a plot of 9 pm in San Paolo since September 2024.
In the chapter broadcast on Monday (14), the Soap Opera reached 26 points of the public and 43% of participation in the state capital. In Rio de Janeiro, the numbers were even more expressive: 31 points with the participation of 41% in the early evening, according to the data of Kantar Ibope.
The episode marked the beginning of a new phase for Raquel, now represented as a successful business woman in front of the Paladar restaurant. The character has returned to the plot with a renewed appearance, including changes in hair, makeup and costumes, which symbolize a turning point in the narrative. This transformation also opened the tension with her daughter, Maria de Fátima (Bella Campos), who was forced to face her mother’s success after a troubled relationship between the two.
In addition to changing the protagonist’s trajectory, other events have also contributed to the positive repercussion of the soap opera. The return of AFONSO (Humberto Carrão) and Heleninha (Patolla Oliveira) in Brazil, after a long absence, have tried parallel plots and a greater public commitment, especially in social networks.
Still the previous week, between 7 and 12 July, Vale had already recorded a weekly record, with an average of 25 points and 43% of participation in the national television panel. The episode aired on Friday (07), in which Raquel tears the wedding dress of Maria de Fátima, has also been decisive for this rise, so far obtaining the best sign of the soap opera in San Paolo.
Jornal Nacional, previously broadcast on the same day of the round, has also recorded growth, reaching 25.1 points of the public so far, the largest audience of the year for the news.
Although Vale’s performance are still below the average achieved by Renascer (2024), which marked 26.6 points on Monday, the recent results show a significant reaction of the soap opera in Globo Grid, helping to recover the space against competition at a historically strategic moment.
The soap work written by Manuela Dias airs from Monday to Saturday, at 21h20 (Brasilia Time), with an artistic direction of Maria de Médicis.
