Tuesday (19), Globo surprised the breakdown of his tradition in Nacional Jornal and giving prominent space to the managers of the main competitors.
The station showed interviews with Marcus Vinicius Vieira, CEO of Record, Claudio Luiz Giordani, representative of the Bandeirans group, and Daniela Abravanel Beyruti, president of SBT, during a report on the arrival of TV 3.0 in Brazil.
The article, presented by Renata Vasconcellos, showed Set Expo 2025, considered the largest media and entertainment event in Latin America. The central agenda was the DTV+, also called 3.0 TV, which will combine the open signal on the internet for free and interactive.
The journalist Renata Ribeiro explained that the news will allow the public to customize the sports broadcasts for purchases during the announcements.

Finally, Daniela Beyruti of SBT has strengthened the union of broadcasters in the face of innovation.
“We are still competing, but in what we have to meet in the sector, I think this is doing, working in favor of our environment, in favor of our sector, therefore it is extremely important. For everyone.”
Repercussion and exchange of spaces
The gesture was classified as unusual, since the national newspaper historically avoids visibility to the leaders of other broadcasters. However, in this case, the coverage was aligned with the spirit of technological cooperation in the sector.
Record, SBT and bands also gave space to their news to the event and managers, configuring a rare exchange of windows on Brazilian TV.
Situation parallel to Globo
While the news gained repercussions for the broken protocol, William Bonner was absent from the bench. The presenter revealed that she was influence and explained that, despite the removal of the presentation, she continued to act behind the scenes of the edition.
“I have been with a well altered voice since Saturday and I wanted to give satisfaction because I will disappear from the air and I think I am killing the service. I am behind the scenes.”
Legal landscape
In the same period, the station also faced a judicial defeat. The superior court of justice has established, from 3 votes to 2, to maintain the Globo contract with the TV Gazeta, affiliated to Fernando Collor de Mello in Alagoas, contrary to the attempt by the station to end the partnership.
The case, which began in 2023, is still under discussion, since the globe studies that take the use of the Federal Supreme Court.
