Botulcatu (SP), 29 August 2025 Progressive national and regional leaders met on Friday in Botucatu, at the Cuesta Polo, for the inauguration of the new regional headquarters of the party. The event, attended by Senator Ciro Nogueira, national president of the acronym, and the deputy federal Maurício Neles, president of State, has marked a strategic step to strengthen the presence of the caption within St. Paul.
The new headquarters is the first of its kind in Brazil and will be covered by 66 municipalities, working as a support base for mayors, councilors and local leaders who try to expand the dialogue with the state and federal government. During the ceremony, pre-cantarers were announced to the state and federal deputies of the Region, strengthening the strategy of consolidating representatives with roots inside and engaged in local requests.
Another salient moment of the meeting was the announcement of the allocation of R $ 500 thousand in Botucatu, funds from the parliamentary amendment presented by the deputy Maurício Neves. The appeal strengthens the commitment of the subtitle to meet the needs of the local population and bring political actions closer to the real needs of the city.
In speeches, the leaders underlined the importance of bringing politics closer to the daily life of the population. For Senator Ciro Nogueira, the installation of the Botucatu directory represents a milestone: “This Botucatu headquarters will be the basis for the interior of San Paolo to have an active voice in the legislative assembly and Brazilia”. Deputy Maurício Neves strengthened the same line, underlining that “the Cuesta pole is the heart of a new policy, made by those who know the real needs of the region”.
The meeting reiterated the progress of the progressives to improve the interior as the protagonist in the political scenario of San Paolo. The caption will continue with a regional articulation agenda in the coming months, preparing the party for the 2026 elections with greater capillarity and local representativeness.
